Generally, graduate students in the lab are encouraged to pursue their own research interests within the general area of biology that includes the study of the evolution of the nervous system and behavior, particularly in fishes and amphibians. Given the current federal assault on universities and granting agencies, I will not be accepting new graduate students for the foreseeable future.
